James y Annette le dan la bienvenida a Woodside Cargo S.L.

Woodside Trading S.L. fue fundada por James (Jim) Canvin y Annette Slingerland en 2003.

Tras enviar su propio contenedor de 20 pies desde el Reino Unido a Fuerteventura, ellos

estaban muy decepcionados de que el envío tardó 16 semanas de puerta a puerta. Al final,

por fin cuando llegó el contenedor a su nuevo hogar en Fuerteventura, la preciosa Harley

Davidson de Jim (aunque todavía estaba en su caja) llegó boca abajo y dañada.

Aunque su nueva aventura era la de un supuesto jubilación, decidieron que si esto les había

sucedido a ellos, era más que probable que también les hubiera sucedido a otros.

Entonces, en lugar de jubilarse, comenzaron su pequeña empresa Woodside Trading (el

mismo nombre que su negocio de materiales de construcción en el Reino Unido) y aquí es

donde empezó todo...

En un par de años, Annette y Jim abrieron su primera oficina en la isla y, tras hacer crecer el

negocio, abrieron su primer almacén y cambiaron el nombre de la empresa a Woodside

Cargo sl.

Siguiendo con más crecimiento, hoy cuentan con un gran almacén en El Matorral (cerca del

aeropuerto de Fuerteventura) y otra oficina separada también en El Matorral. Disponen de

instalaciones de almacenamiento en el Reino Unido, España y Holanda con socios

profesionales que gestionan la parte de la UE y el Reino Unido en nombre de Woodside

Cargo.

Nada es demasiado problema… Su objetivo es complacer y, a lo largo de los años, lo han

hecho precisamente con miles de clientes que se han mudado ida y vuelta a las Islas

Canarias.

Can you take our electrical items?

Yes, not a problem!

Do you relocate pets too?

Yes, we do! We have a specially equipped vehicle and both vehicle and driver are licensed for type 2 transport (Journeys over 8 hours).

Can you wrap our things?

Yes, we provide this service

If we have a shipping container, can you load it?

We can do anything requested from wrapping & packing your items, making the inventory for you and loading the container.

Can you unload a shipping container once it arrives to its destination?

Yes we can!

What about electric bicycles?

We are sorry but these can no longer be transported by us with battery.

Do you have a minimum amount that can be shipped?

No, we can ship from a full 40ft shipping container to a thimble!

Can we ship food?

No, a special license (Which we do not have) is needed for food and drinks (alcoholic or non alcoholic).

Can we ship our plants?

No, again a special license is necessary for this.

What about our car?

We can ship vehicles too!

Do we have to go to the customs office to pay our import tax?

No, we do this for you and you pay us.

Do you offer relocation services to other places other than the UK and the Canary Islands?

Yes, we can offer global relocations.

Can we send pallets?

Yes, we offer a palletline service.
